Three recent notes on the value of writing well.
- “Hire the better writer […] Writing is today’s currency for good ideas”, from Rework, by Jason Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson.
- Jim Coudal: “I will always hire the one who can write. It’s the sign of an organised mind.” (via Liz Danzico, whose own writing keeps me thinking and moving)
- Frank Chimero: “Learn to write, and not school-style writing. A text editor is a perfectly viable design tool.” And he also says that “The best communicators are gift-givers.”
